About Me
Danny Barnett-Foster is the Assistant Executive Director for The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL) where he oversees HR, IT, and facilities. He also coordinates law-related education and pro bono service programs, and is the staff liaison to the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Bankruptcy Law, Cannabis Law, Continuing Legal Eduction (CLE), Elections, Facilities, Innovation & Technology in the Legal Profession, LGBTQ+, Mentorship, Pro Bono, Professionalism, Real Property & Development, Well-Being, and Workers’ Compensation Committees along with the Minorities in the Legal Profession (MILP), Probate & Trust Law, and Taxation Sections and Young Lawyers Division (YLD).
Danny is an active member of the American Bar Association where he serves as a vice chair of the Civil Rights and Social Justice (CRSJ) Section’s Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) Committee. He also served as vice chair of the ABA’s Young Lawyers Division’s SOGI Committee in 2022-23. He volunteers with NABE and serves as chairperson of the Operations & Member Services Section for 2025-26. He is also a volunteer attorney with Legal Services of Eastern Missouri‘s Neighborhood Advocacy Program.
Danny earned his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and MBA from Columbia College. He and his husband, Aaron Barnett-Foster, live in north St. Louis County, and they have three children.
